There is only 1 way to lose weight and get fit in the process. You have to eat less and do more exercise. But it doesn't mean that you have to start running marathons or start going to the gym for hours on end.
The biggest problem is when you start saying that your on a 'DIET'. Automatically if you say your going to start on Monday and it's Friday you'll probably start eating the entire contents of your cupboards to get rid of any sign of chocolate biscuits, sweets and you'll probably have a takeaway because you think your going to starve yourself and so you may as well have that last binge.
I want you to stop saying that your on a diet....You are on a healthy eating plan and it's for life. Nothing is banned but portion control is key to your success and what you will be doing is re-educating your body and mind to choose and make healthier choices.
If your new to exercise or coming back to it after a long break then start with walking because you are not time restricted with it, you can do it anywhere and you don't need any special equipment. decide that you are going to walk a certain distance and time yourself, next time go further and walk a little bit faster and record your workouts.
